Osteria Elio Volpe: Exceptional Dining Experience in Vancouver

First time visiting. Had a great experience here. Staff were very friendly and very welcoming! Pasta was excellent!! Pizza was done extremely well!! Octopus tentacle was very tender, cooked to perfection. Branzino was the best we’ve had ever, grilled perfectly, so moist and juicy inside!! And everything came out piping hot!! Definitely top five on our list now. Forgot to mention, the desserts were also fantastic. Great stuff.

We had a great dining experience. Each dish was unique and had a interesting flavor and combination. Lamb gochni with mint is a must try, the 3/4 size portion isnt a lot, next time I should get thr ful size if you share thr fish with other party. The octopus, brenzono fish were all good. The server recommended a great wine choice!

Went here for our anniversary brunch a week ago after hearing it was delicious from friends (and better than dinner, apparently). It was our first time here (been to Savio a few times and didn’t have great experiences). This was much better! We sat on the beautiful (and comfortable) patio. The service was friendly, food came out extremely fast (despite how very busy it was), and the coffee was strong and smooth We ordered the shrimp bowl (so fresh and great mix of salad and protein), the breakfast pizza (sooo good, took half of this home and it was great leftovers) and the pasta feature (our favee!!!). Can’t wait to come back again for brunch and I’m still thinking about the food a week later!

Had an amazing first visit to Osteria Elio Volpe last night. The restaurant was beautifully designed with a modern feel. Our server Shaun (Horacio Valentino) was wonderful and had an amazing sense of humor. He made some great recommendations and was very fun to chat with. Everyone at my table really enjoyed everything we ordered, from the drinks, to pizza, pasta, the pork chop to desserts! Being pregnant, I tried their Virgin Peach Bellini and it was delicious. They had a great selection of drinks from hard alcohol to wine, as well as a zero proof selection. They also had a nice coffee/latte selection. All the drinks we had were great! The food was just as noteworthy! We really enjoyed the Pepporone & Hot Honey pizza, the Potato Gnocchi, Pork Chop, as well as the Tiramisu Cheesecake and Chocolate & Hazelnut Gelato. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of everything, but trust me, it was great! I’d highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I visited Elio Volpe for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The aesthetic is incredible, the food is outstanding, and the service was first class. Not only did three different people ask me what we are celebrating but they gave me a birthday card and hot fudge sundae! So many places these days, you inform them you are celebrating a birthday, and rarely they acknowledge it. It’s nice to feel celebrated, especially when that was the intent! We would have definitely returned for the food alone (omg the risotto balls and olive oil ice cream ) but the service made it all that much and more.

It's our third time here and we love it. Maybe we like Savio slightly more, but Elio is a close second. The pastas never disappoint and this time we tried new appies, loved them both. BUT this time we had 3 people so we had room to try the pizza AND OMG it was the best decision ever. The pizza crust is thin and chewy, which was a happy discovery as I thought it would be crunchy and I don't usually prefer that kind of pizzas. Definitely trying to margherita next time. The chocolate cake was good to end on (not so much the rice pudding).

Tucked away with rustic charm and elevated ambiance, this gem offered an intimate yet vibrant setting that struck the perfect balance for our celebration. The service was great, our server made thoughtful wine suggestions and even surprised us with a small complimentary appetizer to toast our evening. Every dish we ordered felt crafted with care and precision (see images below) To top off the night, the kitchen brought out a delicate dessert cake with a handwritten chocolate message that read, “Happy Anniversary.” It was a small touch that made a big impact personal, meaningful, and memorable. Elio Volpe is more than just a restaurant , it’s a place where food, service, and atmosphere align to create something truly unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

Our server was exceptional and provided delicious recommendations. The "let us cook for you" surprised us with the portion sizes! We left stuffed and happy. Most tender pork we have ever eaten. Lastly the pizza was so good with the hot honey.
